Rwanda Cycle FAM / Trade Trip
17 - 23 or 25 November 2024
In September 2025, in the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes, Rwanda will make history as the first country in Africa to host the UCI Road World Championships. This will create a unique marketing opportunity to promote tours to an exciting new destination.
Home to spectacular wildlife including mountain gorillas, ancient forests teeming with a dozen primate species, Big 5 safaris, and many other adventures, Rwanda is an incredible place to visit. And with high quality new, sealed roads, a vast network of easy to challenging gravel/dirt routes and single track everywhere, it’s also an exciting new destination for novice, intermediate and professional cyclists alike.
Open to outbound buyers and everyone in Cycle tourism, we invite you to join this exiting FAM trip to Rwanda and experience some of the best cycling in Africa. Explore ‘the land of a thousand hills’ on high quality road and mountain bikes with expert cycling guides. You’ll also meet a huge troop of primates in Nyungwe forest, visit Lake Kivu, literally walk with gorillas and finish with an optional 2-day safari in the flatter eastern part of Rwanda where even more cycle trails abound.
